ポトフォリオにはDAAD東京(ドイツ学術交流会)のグリム兄弟イベントのために作りました作品をアップしていました。作品のタイトルは「漁師と女将」です。DAAD東京のイベントは今週末の四月２１日に始まります。よろしくお願いします。

I have uploaded a new piece of artwork, entitled: The fisherman and his wife. The illustration is part of a Brother’s Grimm themed event at the German Academic Exchange Service, aka DAAD in Tokyo, Japan. The event is starting this weekend, on April 21st.

Ich habe eine neue Arbeit in das Portfolio gestellt. Sie wird ab diesem Wochenende, Freitag 21. April, beim DAAD in Tokyo Japan im Zusammenhang mit einem Themenabend zu den Gebrüdern Grimm ausgestellt wird. Titel der Arbeit ist: Von dem Fischer und seiner Frau.

お久しぶりです。近々は卒業からもう２年間を経ちましたが、その二年間が早く過ごしましたと感じます。実は、卒業式の時に内定者でしたので、今は粗二年間キャラクターデザイナーとしてを働きます。新しい経験が多くて、作業で忙しくて、引っ越してて、新生活で楽しんでいます。最近は新しい製作を作りましたので、紹介したいと思います。よければ、ポートフォリオを見てください。明けましておめでとうございます。これからもよろしくお願いします。

It’s been a long time! Almost two years have passed since graduation in Japan, and the last 2 years have gone by in a flash. In fact, when leaving university I already had a prospective position as a character-designer in Japan. I have been working full-time for about 2 years now, and it’s been full of new experiences, lots of artwork, moving house and enjoying this new chapter in life. I have updated the portfolio with a recent piece of artwork, too. Oh and, Happy New Year!

Es ist lange her, seitdem ich hier Neuigkeiten geschrieben habe. Seit meinem Abschluss sind fast zwei Jahre wie im Flug vergangen. Ich muss gestehen, als ich mein Studium abschloss hatte ich bereits eine Festanstellung als Character-Designer in Japan in Aussicht. Als solcher habe ich nun knapp zwei Jahre gearbeitet. Die Zeit war voller neuer Erfahrungen, neuen Arbeiten, einem Umzug und Spaß im neuen Lebensabschnitt. Es gibt im Portfolio außerdem auch ein neues Bild zu betrachten. Noch ein Frohes Neues Jahr!

京都精華大学で卒業しました。４年間大変お世話ににありました。本当にありがとうございました。これからもよろしくお願いします。同級生のみなさんおめでとうございます。

I have graduated from Kyoto Seika University. Thanks a lot to all faculty members for their support in the last 4 years. I will do my best to become a better artist in the future. Thank you and congratulations to all of my fellow co-students.

Ich habe das Studium an der Kyoto Seika Universität erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Ich bin meinen Lehrern und Professoren zu großem Dank verpflichtet. Ich werde mich anstrengen in Zukunft noch erfolgreicher zu sein! Vielen vielen Dank und auch herzliche Glückwünsche an meine Kommilitonen der letzten vier Jahre.

From August 6th till 10th there will be an exhibition at the Kyoto International Community House. The topic of the exhibition has been mythology, or fairies & ghosts, so you there’s a lot of Japanese and international mythological creatures to be seen. The exhibiting artists are:

The magazine Kyoto Journal has published a korean short-story I have illustrated. The fiction isn’t part of the purchasable issue 80 of Kyoto Journal, but instead is available for free on the magazine’s extensive website in the section: In Translation.

Das Magazin Kyoto Journal hat eine von mir illustrierte Kurzgeschichte aus Korea veroeffentlicht. Die fiktionale Erzählung ist nicht teil der käuflichen Ausgabe 80 des Kyoto Journal, sondern kann auf der inhaltsstarken Webseite des Magazins kostenlos unter: In Translation gelesen werden.
